Altec Lansing showed up at the CES with their new T612 iPod/iPhone dock. It comes with neodymium speakers with bass enhancement technology, iPhone support for incoming calls meaning the music will stop when calls are received, GSM shielding so noises wont be picked up. Get yours in February for $200.

Toshiba developed an interesting projector that requires three feet to project a 60-inch image. The TDP-EW25U has a resolution of (1,280 x 800) and also features a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, DLP technology, 2,600 ANSI lumens, USB / RS-232 ports, integrated 802.11b/g WiFi, VGA, a built-in mono speaker and jacks for audio input. The price isn’t too great though. $2,369

Sprint has announced that they will be carrying the new Samsung SPH-M800 really soon. It comes with specs like a 2-megapixel camera and EV-DO. No other details on when it will come out, pricing, or other specs have been revealed. It should be coming out soon though.

Aigo of China, has displayed their omnisphere speaker MP3 player at CES and will drop anytime in China. Specs include: joystick operation, High quality sound using BTL technology,Dynamic base, Expandable vis SD & MMC Memory card slot, and Variable colored light. This geometrical MP3 player is exclusively available to China only, sorry guys.

Sprint just released another phone called the Sanyo SCP-7050. It’s best feature is the fact that it has a strong, military design that makes it resistant to shock, vibration, and dust. Additional features include: Java MVM support, autonomous GPS, and enhanced Bluetooth capabilities. Get yours today at Sprint for $99 with a 2-year contract.

The upcoming Samsung GX-20 DSLR camera now has a leaked pic on the net. The specs so far include: sensor-based image stabilization, a 2.7-inch LCD, one-press RAW formatting, and ISO up to 3200 along with ruggedized features as well with resistance to rain, sand, and dust, as well as double dust removal on the image sensor. No other info is available right now.

Asus has created the 1st terabyte laptop at the CES. The Travelstar 5K500 laptop is a combo of the Asus M series multimedia notebook’s. So far there is no detailed specs, prices, or even release dates yet. Stay tuned for more updates.

So the GorillaPod is not new, still cool, but not new, what is new is the accessories they are now packaging with it. There is a suction cup and a couple of Velcro attachments each of which are mountable on the GorillaPod just like a camera.

The Palm people didn’t have much new to show, but they had a new GPS application and they had a new car mount for the Centro. Really it looked to be resizable so you could probably use it with any phone, but they had the Palm Centro in it.
