The 925 is truly different looking compared to what you can find on the market these days, featuring a distinctive VFrame design with award-winning audio technology that tantalizes the senses whenever you look at it. Thankfully, it won’t break the bank to look stylish with the Plantronics Discovery 925 as it will retail for $149.99 when available this month in Black Onyx. Those looking for the Plantronics Discovery 925 in Alchemy Gold and Cerise Pink will have to wait till next month.

Using a notebook on your lap for hours on end isn’t the most comfortable feeling in the world as any notebook owner can tell you, which is why a cooling pad is always seen to be a lifesaver. The only beef I have with such cooling pads is many of them require to be plugged into your notebook’s USB port, which means even more power is drained - a big no-no if you’re always up and about, far away from the nearest power outlet. |
|
But I digress - the Elecom SX-CL05SV Cooling Pad is made from aluminum for superior heat transfer, and boasts three fans which whir away quietly at 2,400RPM. This nifty little device caters only for A4-sized notebooks (and smaller), retailing for approximately $56 in Japan.

BenQ just released more information on its T60 cell phone that manages to cram in a 2.2″ LCD display at 320 x 240 resolution and a 3.2 megapixel camera into a body that measures just 8.9mm thin. |
|
BenQ aims for the T60 to be a fashion handset, which makes perfect sense for its software to include a caller black list function - after all, you can’t be seen hanging out with sore losers in the eyes of society whenever you go out, right? Other features include :-
The battery life is very disappointing though, as you get the maximum of 2.5 hours of talk time, while standby time has been rated at 200 hours. Pricing details are still unknown. |

Sony has lifted the curtain on tis W4000 series of LCD TVs, bringing the following to your living room (at a premium, of course). |
There isn’t any information on price or availability, but Bravia models have traditionally remained at the top of the food chain to be prepared to break the bank and explain to the missus on why your home needs one of these…desperately. |

So you think that your 5 megapixel camera on your cell phone isn’t living up to its potential, especially when it comes to capturing detail from a distance? |
|
The 8x Telescope ought to come in handy, and each purchase comes with a tripod and cell phone holder to provide you up to 8x zoom in order to capture memories from far off in great detail without suffering from the dreaded “shaky hands” syndrome. There is no word on pricing as at press time, but it shouldn’t be too expensive by any accounts.

Is this a stylish handset from Kyocera or what - the Neo E1100 is a CDMA flip phone which was announced at CTIA, and it boasts the following specifications :- |
There is no word on pricing, but why must Kyocera stick to the unpopular 2.5mm headphone jack? |

Windows Mobile Photon, also known as Windows Mobile 7, was just released by Microsoft at CTIA today. This new Windows Mobile version features a full standards compliant web browser in addition to front facing cameras on all its devices which make video conferencing a snap. |
|
In addition, the highly anticipated Windows Mobile 6.1 update was released today, making it easier to zoom in and out on web pages by simply pressing the volume keys on your device. The Photon naming convention was probably used in order to avoid confusion with Windows 7 for the desktop.

This Rechargeable LED Cigarette Lighter not only offers you light when you need it the most (changing tires in the middle of nowhere at midnight would be a great time to have any source of light), it also ensures that the battery inside remains charged most of the time, thanks to it being plugged into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter at most times. |
|
At the very least, you’ll be able to know where it is during an emergency, which is more than what I can say for rummaging through a messy glove compartment when you’re in a hurry. A 7-hour charge offers up to 120 minutes of performance.

Mio is partnering with ATX, a “telematics” company, to build connected GPS devices. ATX will provide the wireless know-how and infrastructure and Mio will integrate it into its proprietary navigation software, a move that we think was planned for a long time when Mio decided to create its own software instead of using a third party’s product. |
|
This is clearly the next step for GPS devices: they have to be connected to receive traffic info, real-time updates, gas prices and most importantly be able to receive an address from a computer (think from Google Maps) and be managed from there

Now here’s another robotic pooch that keeps you and your guests entertained as long as you are willing to fork out a thousand clams for it. The G-Dog from HPI Japan stands ay a mere 5.3″ tall, boasting a similar control unit and sensors as found on the GR-001, a bipedal robot from HPI Japan as well. |
|
At least you have no poop to scoop up once you’re done playing with this bugger. You’ll have to suppress your excitement of getting one at least until July when it is released in Japan.
