Asus Nova P20 takes on the Mac Mini

If you are looking for an alternative to the Mac Mini then you may want to consider Asus’ new Nova P20. Boasting of being a small form-factor PC, it’s mini and it looks hip. Place it vertical or horizontal, both the orientations work for it, it features touch-sensitive power and optical drive eject buttons, which add to the minimalist look.

At the back there are four USB ports and three audio jacks that support surround sound. It also has a DVI port, but you can always use an adapter if you want to transform it into HDMI. It features an Intel 2160 1.8GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive, and a DVD rewriter drive, a built-in speaker and integrated Intel graphics. Asus projects that the PC will set you back by almost 450 GBP (about $886). It’s available in black or white and probably be out later this year.
