The product description is not really clear enough that these are intended to be surround speakers. So if you purchased them for two-channel listening you might be disappointed. The bass response does not go very low. It’s rated down to only 100 Hz. This is a small cabinet overall and sealed design doesn’t offer much bass response or range. The best bookshelf speakers under $200 these are a good buy for some applications.

WHAT WE LIKE

  • An integrated wall-mount solution for flexible installation and system configuration.
  • Functions as a bookshelf or surround speaker in stereo or multi-channel systems.

WHAT WE DON’T LIKE

  • Not too bright, decent bass reproduction for their size. the lows sounded muddy and the highs were lacking.
  • The clarity and detail is a little lacking

Best Bookshelf Speakers Under $200 Polk Audio TSi100

The Polk audio TSI100 bookshelf speakers. Equipped with one 5.25-inch dynamic woofer and 1-inch silk dome tweeters. They sound much better than a typical center channel speaker.

It greatly improves the stereo imaging effect by providing a taller projected pattern of sound from each speaker. The best bookshelf speakers under $200 an enjoyable compact form factor that is particularly versatile.

The TSI100 pulse is that the price is very reasonable for the quality of sound they produce. I read a few reviews of the TSi100  that were not very favorable. But from what they said, they were expecting way too much. Some of the reviews said the speaker had the low bass response. The bass is solid making them usable even without a subwoofer can’t recommend these highly enough.

 WHAT WE LIKE

  • Pair of high-performance bookshelf speakers.
  • They have always been of the highest build quality.
  • They have incredible sound for such a cheap price.

WHAT WE DON’T LIKE

  • The bass can be underwhelming in a minor, but noticeable, way.
  • The capacitor is invisible and has no effect on the frequency response

The speakers have 24 bit/192KHz converters will give you a high-class sound quality. The sound is a ‘wake-up’ call to anyone using regular PC speakers.

These speakers can be part of a stereo setup with great bang for the buck that deftly handles one digital and one analog audio source. We have found the dual input and dual volume control (each channel controlled separately) especially helpful and, probably, a feature that is somewhat undersold on this particular speaker.

The best bookshelf speakers under $200 have used high-quality components to guarantee a very long lifetime.

 WHAT WE LIKE

  • Powerful woofers and high-resolution tweeters provide an ultra-linear frequency response.
  • The performance is fantastic.
  • The quality and workmanship are very good.

WHAT WE DON’T LIKE

  • No balance control, there is no other active speaker of this size that can pull this off.
  • The plastic plug they had inside the headphone jack was the most difficult thing to get out of there.
